Tooto Wetu Education Programme (TWEP), which means Our Children in the Swahili language, is a Non-Governmental Organisation established to provide education outreach services for all in Uganda by promoting opportunities to support, connect and grow all stakeholders in education.

TWEP currently operates in the Kampala and Wakiso districts of Uganda. It was founded in 2015 and is registered with the Uganda National NGO Board.  TWEP is managed according to its constitution.

TWEP is led by its CEO - Yoweri Kasozi. Our Education Manager is Suzan Nambi and Health Manager is Margaret Kajuma. We also have a wonderful team of support workers and volunteers bringing a wide range of experience and skills to TWEP and the children and youth it serves.

Who We Work With

Within all of our work we reach out to all groups in society, living out our mission to connect stakeholders, and to bring genuine and high quality education opportunities to all. We currently have programs working with schools, community groups, youth and children within the Kampala and Wakiso Districts of Uganda.

Much of our work, and in particular the work with our i.HUG partners, focuses on supporting the most vulnerable groups in society to find sustainable ways for children, youth and families living with poverty to overcome the multiple disadvantages that this creates.
