TWEP’s main funding and implementation partner is The International HUG Foundation (i.HUG) a USA registered 501(c)3 non-profit organisation. TWEP and i.HUG have a long-term partnership working together to run high-impact programs that enable children to go to and succeed in school, improve the quality of education for all and empower children to live safe, happy, and productive lives.

Local Partners

We currently partner with 10 Government Schools within the Kampala and Wakiso Districts to implement our Learn to Play, Play to Learn and First Aid in Schools programs. Once we have implemented a program schools are invited to be part of our network so they can access on going support and training as well as provide support to new schools joining the network.

We work closely with other organisations in Kampala and Wakiso Districts to access expertise and to connect stakeholders. All of our schools involved in the First Aid in Schools program have had programs delivered by Days for Girls and have been connected with local clinics and hospitals to help ensure children can access medical care when needed.

We work closely with relevant government offices including the District Education Officer, Schools Inspectors and CCT’s to help ensure our school network and programs are sustainable.

In April 2019 in partnership with Buganda Kingdom Musaale Gombolola Ssisa we delivered a careers education workshop for 265 students from 4 schools within Kajansi, Wakiso District.

Our training and capacity building sessions are available to all schools within Wakiso District. Please contact us to find out more
